My Seven - Caterham 1.6 Vx 1998

Inspired by a BRG S4 Seven Matchbox car as a kid and a love of all things Lotus residing in the family, the passion was kindled by a certain Autocar article (see below) in the 80's. I did spend a good while writing to companies producing sevenesque kits for brochures in the hope that someday I would own and race a Seven.

As my family represented Caterham Cars locally, a Vauxhall 1600 engined Caterham Classic was brought over to gague interest in sales.

Later, my family, wishing to see me get over a difficult period, offered the seven at a token price, an offer which I could not resist :)
